Robert Martinelli
Tax Planning Team Lead
Robert's wake-up call came in 2000 when his dad’s estate dwindled
from $1.8 million to just $147,000 after losses and inheritance taxes.
Although his Dad had a Stock Broker, CPA and Estate Planning Attorney, he learned
two things from this experience: First, these professionals blamed his father:
He was supposed to know what to do and when to do it.
And second, because they did not speak to one another, no
one had a clear understanding of his parents’ financial situation or the
liabilities that my brother and I would incur.
The day he wrote those tax checks to the IRS, he made a
promise that he would never let this happen to any of his clients.
He take great
pride in knowing that he helps his clients eliminate taxes and build generational wealth.
D. Scott Kenik
Retirement Preservation Specialist
Scott began his career in the insurance industry in 1995. He then spent several years educating financial advisors at firms such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Prudential, and many others on 401(k) plan design, and later worked at Metropolitan Life helping to develop a new retirement program.
When he founded Wealth Concepts Group, LLC, he chose to specialize in retirement planning after seeing his parents struggle with market volatility.
His goal then—and now—is to design retirement strategies that deliver stock-market-like returns without market risk, while helping retirees create safe, dependable lifetime income streams.
Education is a cornerstone of Scott’s practice, and he has written four financial books to support that mission. His book 'No-Stress Retirement Roadmap' is an Amazon #1 bestseller.
